November 25, 2017 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm£5
Duck are celebrating the release of their debut LP “FaceAche” and have invited some ace bands along to join in the fun. Tell your friends!!!
“The bastard offspring of the Jesus And Mary Chain meets a seriously twisted and distorted version of Weezer.” Mouses are guitarist and vocalist Steven Bardgett and drummer Nathan Duff, a lo-fi garage rock duo from Billingham renowned for their raw and energetic live performances and a tendency for gig induced self-destruction. Formed in early 2014, they have built a growing reputation for their unique sound, combining surrealist lyrics and playful melodies in a whirlpool of fuzzed-out, frenetic punk rock.
As heard on BBC Radio 1 (featured as Huw Stephen’s ‘Tip Of The Week’), BBC Radio 6, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio; Mouses have burst onto the scene with festival appearances at Reading and Leeds, Liverpool Sound City, The Great Escape, Evolution Emerging, Twisterella, Stockton Calling and Olgas Rock Festival in Germany. They curated their own fest “Mousetival” in August this year to great acclaim and their highly anticipated debut album, ‘The Mouses Album’, is OUT NOW!!!!
Sheffield/Leeds – based wonky diy/punk/synth/guitar noisepop band. Duck ‘s debut LP “FaceAche” is out now!!!
Girlx2, DIY, acerbic summat-pop. Named after a failed experiment to teach an ape to talk, Nim Chimpsky have thus far lived up to their namesake, producing an angry, noisy whirlwind of acerbic feminist pop.
Bad Idea are Sarah Sefton and Daniel Johnson – a scuzzy pair (their words..)making poppy grungey lo-fi songs that you can dance to!
