Running away with it

It’s no secret that Runners are one of our favourite bands. Not only do they consistently drop tune after tune, with their blend of kraut synthetics and grooving disco rhythms, but their monthly marathon mixes are an online musical education that some of us at Audacious have come to rely on for inspiration. If you’re not yet hooked up introveinously to their internet doctors surgery, i suggest you head over at the end of this and pop your email in the subscribe box. They’ll send you only the choicest inbox cuts, which soon enough will become your favourite binary delivery of the month.

In terms of the actual band though, Runners have been winning a lot of races lately and as their prize, have been award a brand spanking new 12″ single on the future pop label Dummy. You can now also watch the new incredible video for ‘Starting Line’ in wonderful 720p HD, made real to yours eyes by Eoin Shea. If that wasn’t exciting enough, you’ll be able to see them live and buy it at our gig for the upcoming Tramlines festival in Sheffield on Friday 22nd July at The Red House.

Until then, gorge yourself on the various forms of free media related to these guys at the moment and see if you can keep up with them better in the future.
